The Dark Knight Rises had 3 teaser trailers and for the third one you had to unlock all the frames to it by finding graffiti clues in different countries online and then tweeting them. Very successful viral campaign.

The Dark Knight rises has made lots of money through merchandising and this contributes to why it is in the top 10 for most money made as it is one of only 10 movies to make over $1 billion.
